Can I use a regular computer network adapter with my xbox 360?

I already have a wireless network in my house with a D-link router. I also have a Linksys network adapter that I no longer need for my old computer. It have a usb cord for hooking it up, but is it possible to use it with my xbox so that I don't need to spend money on aqnother adapter?
