I have a LinkSys WRT54G wireless-G broadband router. A day ago I sunk ($$) my DSL connection and I'm looking for an inexpensive way to receive local WiFi on my home desktop PC.

I am wondering if there is any way I can use the WRT54G to receive wifi in order to temporarily have an internet connection on my desktop PC (surf for unsecured networks in range.)

Wait does your desktop even have a wireless card ??? In no then NOOO....If yes you wouldn't even need a router to begin with, inorder to get local wifi connections. BUT REMEMBER legally its HELL NO!!! to take peoples Wi-Fi connection. If you do get caught you would sink ($$$$$$$) to the earth's core........GOT THAT.
