Can I use a intel HSF that came with my 2.4b for a 2.4c

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if its ok to use that Fan for the 2.4c processor, can I just clean it with alcohol and apply new thermal paste? Thanks for any replies.

well, the only difference between the B and C is the FSB so i dont see why you wouldnt be able to use the B HSF for a C

ok, i just wanted to know and make sure just incase the C processor ran a little hot and if the retail versions come with a new fan. Thanks.
