i found a 6 firewire port hub on newegg.com. I was wondering if i could mount this thing in my rack, and then when i watned more storage i could buy another large external driver and connect it to this thing? would windows see each new hard drive when it is added to this hub? i realize that the bandwidth would get shared when more hard drives were added, but i woudn't want to access data on any more than one at a time anyways.

Thanks fo ryour opinions.

Just be aware that not all hubs are created equal. I had one that would cause app issues when writting to both drives.
