I got my ac adapter stolen and I really need to charge my laptop for tomorow, should I risk it, and I don't want to spend $50 on a new one, if the voltages and the watts are the same will this work keep in mind:
Dell AC adapter=3 prongs into wall.
Fujitsu AC adapter=2 prongs into wall.
Should the prongs make a diffrence?
Thanks.

if the plug fits the polarity could still be reversed and motherboard frying will ensue.

unlike on Star Trek, reversing the polarity is not a good thing.

lol, nice comment.

my dell can detect different adapter and report un-optimized recharging problems.. which shortens the battery life.. i tested it and lost a battery... which my complete care covered.. 🙂
