Can I use a 9800 NP with Win98SE?

I believe I read that ATI does not "officially" support using Win98SE with their 9800 cards and that ATIs drivers for Windows ME will work.

Any suggestions/ideas (other than installing Windows XP or some other "newer" OS

You can get 98/ME drivers from ATI`s website,link .

Other option is to try the Omega 3.8s from here .I would think about upgrading 98 to 2K or XP since from Jan 2004 ,98 will have no support from Microsoft.
