Can I upgrade a Casiopea to WinCE 3.0?

A friend of mine has a Casiopea E-105 which comes with Windows CE2.11 (we're in the UK, I think it might be shipping with CE3.0 in the US).

She wants to use Excel on it, but has been told that Excel is only compatible with Windows CE3.0. Looking into it a bit more, she has found other software that only runs on CE3.0

Having spent around $600 on the thing less than a year ago, she's a bit annoyed that it seems to be obsolete already:disgust:

Does anyone know whether an upgrade is possible? If so, can you post some contact info - Casio UK have not replied.

Hehe, I have an E-11 (woohoo!). I haven't seriously considered any upgrade options, but if the price is right, ...

Sorry, NFS4. I'm a big-time cheeeeeeepskate. I'd rather wait 'til the Palm Vx dropes to $50. 🙂 Yeah, I'll be dead by then, but here's to hopin'. OK, I'm really hoping someone puts together a nice PDA + cell phone unit. If done right, that thig could rock.
