I've got a Gateway laptop that runs at 400fsb and is not adjustable via bios.
I also have a leftover Mobile Pentium 4 3.2ghz that runs at 533fsb that won't work in the Gateway laptop as is (I've already tried) so I'm wondering if I can UNDERclock my 3.2ghz with some type of pin mod down to 400fsb so it will potentially work in the laptop.
So what I'm asking is can I pin mod my 3.2ghz to run at 100mhz instead of the 133mhz it's currently at. Is there a specific pin on the processor that controls this speed and can it be modded down to 100mhz.
