Can I turn off the power key on my keyboard in XP?

Anyway to do this? It has a power key and if I press it Windows just shuts down without asking me what to do. I can see this becomming a problem in the future...
 
when I had that problem (with win2k) I took the keyboard apart and took out the switch for that key 🙂
 
Don't multifunction keyboards like that require software to run? Just unload the software, problem solved 🙂

didn't need software when I had the problem
just a cheap keyboard from office depot... thing died after three months anyways
