I would like to be able to watch the videos on the tv that is not near a computer.
Preferably in the picture should be in HD.

Can I transmit Video and Audio to a tv wirelessly?
If so what kind of hardware do I need?

If not, What kind of external equipment(media player-with a hard drive)
will work best for what i am trying to do?

I've seen some media players out there, but am afraid of getting something horrible
The videos I will be playing are in 1080 and the sizes are up to 12GB per video

I'm pretty sure there was something like this demoed at CES back in January for release later this year...

My WD HD Live transmits wirelessly and also works great with an attached USB external drive.

i read some reviews on the ed HD live, the reviews seem great except for the wireless part. I've got an external hd that is laying around so that will be my primary source
