Can I transfer my regular home phone number to a cell?

Or does that only work with cell to cell?

if it isn't already available, it should be within the next month or two...however if i remember correctly, once you switch to a cell # you can't switch that number back to a landline

Sure you can. Just not sure how many companies will actually do it right now or how much or how long it will take. However, the law that went into effect in late November says that people can switch Cell to landlines and landlines to cell phones.
