I'm trying to figure out why a guy would not want their partner touching them below their chest.

Whenever I want to know what makes me feel uncomfortable, I always consult random internet pictures. Because, you know, everyone is the same right? Also, why doesn't our law enforcement just use this as a reference guide?

"HE touched YOU in the stomach area?! ARREST HIM AT ONCE!"

It's things like this in life that you immediately know must be written/made by a woman. I've yet to meet a male that is that retarded.

so if my interpretation is correct, guys can touch friends-who-are-girls anywhere as it isn't taboo, just "least comfortable".

sounds legit

I'd like to see this study repeated only using active brain scans with men and women volunteers to have strangers touch them in various places with imaging of brain pleasure/arousal centers.

I'd bet cold hard cash that the men who have strange women touch them in various places will appear to be much less prudish then.

The article has a much better picture attached, but honestly it's missing a LOT of context information. See here:

However, almost the entire male body was up for grabs to a female stranger or acquaintance, with no part considered taboo.

In fact, for men, a woman they barely know has similar ‘touching rights’ to a parent and more than a brother or sister, the journal Proceedings of the Royal Academy of Sciences reports. Although the reason for this is not clear, the study did find that the more pleasurable a touch was believed to be, the larger the body area that person was allowed access to.

There you have it. Men are dirty whores.

Here's my guess, based on hard lessons learned in my youth...

In my experience, an "untrained" excited female tends to want to bat the boys around like a tetherball. Thus, the smart fellow quickly learns to set up a generous no-fly zone in order to protect himself while he instructs her on proper care and handling.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

It's just a damn study about peoples' comfort levels, not a feminazi uprising.

At this point I'd gladly let anyone touch me anywhere. Getting offended when someone gets close to my erogenous zones is a luxury I can't afford.
