I got pulled over going 85 in a 70 on the interstate and I'm not sure if I'm eligable or not. Here's the history:
Old:
- Got a ticket last year (3/1/2003) for going like 5 over.
- Went to the county office and payed the reduced rate and said I would go to traffic school within 60 days (3/3/2003)
- Finally did an online traffic course, passed, and mailed certificate in (4/22/2003)
Now:
- Get pulled over and ticketed (3/11/2003)
On the ticket it says you can sign up for traffic court if "... you have not made a prior election to attend within the 12 months preceding this election."
So my question is, is it at the time I payed the traffic ticket and said I'd go or are they asking when I actually took the course?
Thanks.
