Can I switch boot drives?

I used the 7 upgrade and it put the boot info on my 7 beta drive even though I installed it on my new SSD. I partitioned the SSD and then put 7 x64 on it and now I have to switch boot drives to switch between the two OS's. Is it possible to move the boot files onto the SSD so I can dual boot off the same drive? Also for some reason Windows created a new system files drive on my SSD when I installed the x64 version and that is the partition that is active. I was hoping to move the boot files over to the 32-bit partition and make it active. Is it doable? Otherwise I will just leave it as is until the old drive dies and then reinstall windows at that time and straighten it out.

Can you copy over the bootmgr and \boot directory to the 32 bit partition and use bcdedit to change the drive letter?
