I wana know what reviewers do when they benchmark motherboards.

Do they Install a new OS and drivers each time or they can manage to swap the mobo avoiding data corruption?

For Ex, If im benchmarking A64 939 CPU's. 1 Mobo is VIA based, other is NVIDIA based, i use my NV one first and install all the stuff then remove any NV files while keeping other drivers on HD, can i plug my VIA board and get a clean boot or will it fail?

I wouldn't try it. If I was being extremely lazy I would just do a repair install of XP when switching boards with different chipsets.

Well, does that mean i can swap motherboards with same chipsets?

Also, what about graphic cards, if im using NV cards, should i just swap them without having to reinstall drivers?

Lazy method...clone the drive and hope that WXP will reload the appropriate drivers.

Right way for optimum performance and stability...clean install WXP.
