You could sue here, but your odd of winning would be a lot better if she threw hot coffee in your face or something.

Make sure you have a witness.

In one of my more redneck towns, a girl worked for me, 5'0" ~100lbs. Filed for her insurance license and it came back with an assault and battery charge on her record. Her cousin's boyfriend was beating the crap out of the cousin and Regina hit him in the head with a big glass ashtray. He pressed charges. The judge looked at R. Looked at the guy and said,"Really. You want to go forward with this?":colbert: Shamed him out of the court.

The guy was 6'3" 250+.:D

WTF? She was never convicted and it shows up on her permanant record? That's some BS.

you didn't happen to slip and fall on standing water while you were there did you?

And did you take names? Witnesses don't do any good unless you have some way to contact them again.

This girl slapped me once. What did I do? I married her.

He could just stand outside BK with a sign that said

"If you saw me get bitch slapped here the other day, call xxx-xxx-xxxx."

Welcome to S.C.:D

Actually, iirc, the insurance commission question is "have you ever been charged..." She said no but the county records office said different. Corrected the answer on her form and the commission gave her the limited lines license she needed. Yes, it's messed up but that's the insurance commission for you. IRL, it doesn't mean squat for her.

Here, you can google your county +public index and search for just about anything that's gone through the courts. Civil, criminal, divorce, judgements... I use it all the time to get a read on new applications.

It should be illegal to ask anything other than "have you ever been convicted of ..."

Seriously, if you were going to act, you should have acted right then and right there, not some time after the fact. It's too late now. forget about it.

thats sort of how i feel too, but i feel like then she wont learn her lesson. if i were a real man i probably would have slapped back or at least yelled at her or something. but i just stood there stunned and didnt say a word and when she left and i noticed everyone else was staring at me i just ran out of the store.

Here, I modified my masterpiece pome to help take away the sting:

It really is pretty versatile. :hmm:

Sure, if you're a little bitch. What kind of man gets slapped by a woman and sues?

You should just write a pome about it and move on.

The kind of man who writes pomes?

People,

I don't think pome means what you think it means

OP, I definitely think you should sue, be sure to hire a lawyer. Just make sure it's a good one... that charges a lot.

Omg this is a good thread....

Somehow I feel this was a brag thread for talking to a girl to begin with but the fact that the OP is 320 and bitching about getting slapped more than makes up in the opposite direction lol.

So let's see if I have this straight, you tell a future nurse she is going to be fat, she slaps you and you go running out of a Burger King and now want to sue her. o_O

I'm siding with the plaintiff on this case judge, and recommend a $100,000.00 fine for pain and suffering. :hmm:

She will get arrested for assault and go to the station and it will be on her record but trying to sue you will lose if they have money.

If it's a rich family then by all means, sue away. Remember, the goal is not necessarily to win. You want to present as strong a case as possible (witnesses are a must) and shoot for settling out of court.

Even if you make out with only a few thousand they won't miss it if they're rich.

Call the police and file charges. Then the father will try to settle with you in order for you to drop the charges.

i was talking to this girl i know who graduated this year. her dad is really rich, got a huge fancy house, and she is telling me about her fancy graduation party and going to college in the fall. she says that shes going to study to be a nurse.

since all nurses eventually get fat, i (jokingly) say "have fun getting fat!" and what does she do? she just hauls off and slaps me! and then walks away.

now ianal but im pretty sure that this is illegal. i know for a fact that if i did it to her i would be thrown in jail. is there any way i can relatiate with a lawsuit or civil charges? i felt and still feel the emotional trauma of this event, everyone at the burger king when this happened probably hates me now. and my cheek still hurts a little where one of her fancy rings scratched it.

like i said her dad is rich and i could really use some help right now.

Hahaha. Manahan got his ass beat by a girl and admitted it in OT. DISCUSS!
