Can I still use Napster to download with a Cable Router and no port forwarding ?

Hi
I am about to connect my Cable modem to a SMC barricade cable router. Since my three computers need to use Napster, I was wondering if I don't configure any of the computers for port forwarding, will I at least be able to download from Napster or will the built in Firewall prevent this. If I understand correctly, isnt the Firewall protection for the purpose of people trying to download from me ? My main concern is that I will not be able to use the three computers with Napster at the same time. Am I correct in thinking that I will still be able to use Napster to get files even if I leave all the firewall protection on all three computers.
Thanks

It should be fine, I'm using the Linksys router without forwarding. Can dl files just fine, but it seems that some users can not grab files from me (prolly about 1/3 can't.) Never used it on more than one box at the same time though, but it should be ok.

Most of the time, unless Napster is configured otherwise, it wants port 6699 I think, either that or 6969. I think a NAT box will allow outgoing connections to your hearts content but won't allow an incoming. Don't know how the incoming get through, maybe if your box has a connection going out or something already..

To get incoming requests to go through, you need to specify the specific ports in the popular/special applications section in your web browser properties (http://192...whatever)...what I don't know (regarding ICQ and AIM) are what the incoming ports are...
