You don't have to explain it step by step, but a good tutorial link would be appreciated. I have a wireless router 54g (d-link DI-524) but there is no internet connection to its wan port. 2 computer have access to the router. Can I still setup a network to share files an maybe a printer even if no internet connection is involved.

Thanks

Yeah you can. A Wireless Router is a combo unit of Routing circuits, switch, and Access Point.

You do not need to use the Routing part to establish a Wired/Wireless network.

Plug the Wired computer to the Router? switch ports (leave the WAN open) configure the Wireless, Configure the Network sharing and enjoy.

Log to this page it has a lot of links to instructions to Windows Network Settings, and Sharing.

Link to: Windows Network - Installing & Sharing.

Link to: Wireless - Basic Configuration.
