The USB speed for external HD backup is just too slow to be practical for me. So I was looking for the receipt the other day and guess what? I can't find it. I know my purchase is still within the return period but do you think they will take it back?

The store is located in the City of Industry, if that helps the matter.

Did you paid cash or CC. If you paid by CC, they should be able to look up your receipt by CC number.

They can look up by CC if you have the card you used to purchase it. Takes slightly longer but it's not like it's quick process to return at fry's with the receipt anyway. Normal return rules apply so hopefully it's within 30 days or you'll be speaking with a manager.

If you paid with cash, you're probably SOL. They might give you a store gift certificate? but I'm pretty sure it'd be cash.

Without receipt, you will most probably get a store credit for the lowest price for which item was sold within the last 30 days (or 90 days). I only remembering returning one item to Frys without receipt and thats what they did but this was few years ago. Dont know if policy has changed recently.

As mentioned, if paid via CC, they should be able to look it up. Or if you bought the item using your phone number (frys uses phone numbers to look up customers), they can look it up that way also.

You are right. I was just told that they would be able to give me refund through my CC number.

THanks. :)
