Can I still get Manufacture Warranty from Logitech if I do NOT have the receipt?

I am thinking to buy a web cam off e-Bay. The price is in fact quite attractive. But the seller indicates that he does not have the receipt since he got it for Christmas, but he has neither used it before.
So, if the cam is broke (within the warranty range), can I still get a exchange from Logitech directly?
