hey all,
I need to figure out how i can set specific environmental variables after a PC has been imaged. some variables will be static and never change whle some of them, such as asset number and the like need to be changed after the PC has been imaged. is there a way I can do this via LOCAL group policy? maybe script? does anyone know of any online resources that i can use as reference to maybe figure out some startup scripts that will do this for me?

Thanks a million for helping!

It's definetly going to be a script.
I'm not a huge SMS guy , but I wouldnt be suprised if SMS does this sort of thing too.
Sorry I can't help you more. I just wanted to let you know that policy isnt going to be much use.
