Can i Sell my Office XP academic Edition?

Is this legal? I am not using it, and I wanted to resell it without getting arrested.

You can't sell it on AnandTech per the FS/T forum rules.

NFR would be illegal if you agree to the license by opening the software. As an example, if I were to sell my still sealed Office XP Academic, I would not be bound by the NFR clause as I never agreed to the EULA.

depends how it was distributed. at my old school, NFR microsoft software was downloaded as an ISO image. by clicking the download button, we agreed to follow the EULA :)

yea same here... all of the MSDN Alliance stuff at my old school is distributed by copying CDs and getting a reg key in person, or downloading it off of their website.

Talk about splitting hairs; at any rate, I specifically mentioned boxed software in my example. Which makes my example valid. Now if only someone were interested in buying Office XP Standard Academic. I'm really not asking for much. :)

You can sell pretty much anything on ebay - re: if it's legal or not - that's a whole 'nother matter.
