We have several printers and in all programs we can select the printer we want to print to. However, we have as yet to figure out how to tell IE8 to print to anything but the Default Printer. Am I missing something here?
Right - use the Menu Bar, not the Command Bar. To get the menu, just hit ALT - then as Fardringle says. That is, unless you are like me and keep the Menu Bar up all the time. 🙂
Thank you both. I will tell my wife to try that. I thought that she told me that when she did that it started to print right away and did NOT ask her what printer she wanted...this worked in all her apps except IE8.
You can also see your choice of printers by pressing "Control +P" or by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the printer icon on the Command bar.
The box typically just shows two lines for printers when it opens -- the default and Windows Document XPS Writer. You have to scroll to the right and you should see the rest of the installed printers.
