Or will your heads assplode?

Yeah, I'm a big critic. Yet, they have done two pretty good things lately.

First, they give you a free Norton 360 type software. I am a big fan of the new Norton, as it is far less a resource hog than older versions. The version Comcast gives you is identical to the the Norton 360 you buy in the store, though its not labeled as the 360, just plain v.4

Second, every three months they send me a Comcast MoviePass worth 35.00 towards movie purchases. So far I have been sent two. Don't know if it will continue.

So, two thumbs up. Now I can't say there is nothing good about Comcast.

Did your head assplode?

After dealing with ISPs and cable companies found in the south (Pavlov media and metrocast or something) I have a new found respect for comcast. It's not that they've been doing better, it's just that now I've experienced far,far worse.

Anti-virus is a gimmick and $35 isn't much to them. Not that I don't like Comcast.

Comcast is the only game in town for my new apartment.

The service was just hooked up today, but at minimum I'll say that the repair guys showed up on time-ish unlike any of my experiences with Cablevision, my old provider.

On Demand works well. I just watched the Korean sword & sorcery movie Restless in the free movies > Sundance channel section and it was pretty good.

With On Demand I also don't have to pay them $10/month for a DVR to watch Eureka when I want to instead of whenever it's normally on.

I'm ok with Comcast. The service costs too much for what you get, but I'm fairly happy with it.

I thought AT&T was much better than Comcast. They actually showed up.. on time and the tech gave me a bunch of hdmi cables and usb wifi adapters out of his truck.

I've had Comcast for about 10 years as my Cable TV and internet provider and most recently have added them as my phone too. Over that period of time I have had a few problems here and there (to be expected I guess) but nothing major and their customer service, at least for me, has always been very good. Overall I have been very pleased with them.

I do however, think that they are way overpriced but they all are these days.
