True user-mode 32bit applications will thunk just fine on a 64bit box. I suppose virtualizing an old 16 bit app may be handy though since I don't believe those will thunk.
For the OP though: Yes it will run fine.
Scanners seem to be the sore point with most Windows OS upgrades. All of the major scanner and multi-purpose printer/scanner/FAX makers deem it appropriate to ask you to buy new equpment every time there's a new OS. :|Originally posted by: bsobel
