Can I run this memory in dual channel @ 1T?

Yes, it should be able to. I have the corsair 2gig dual channel kit(Twinx2048-3200c2pt) also purchased from newegg about a week ago. Right now it's on sale for $225 for the 2gig kit. For me it does 2.5-3-3-6 1T all the way up to 474MHz. Just plain awesome for 1gig sticks. I'd think about going with the corsair. It'll save you a buck. 🙂
 
Heh, well for an extra buck I can get Patriot's 2-3-2-5 timings. Only reason I'm not going with a kit.

Either way you go you're probably looking a cas 2.5
Most people have problems running cas 2 on AMD 64 platforms
Corsair XMS is tried and true so that's the way I went. Works great with my asus board.
