Can I run ESX as VM in VMware workstation on ASUS M5A78L-M motherboard ?

Not sure whether I am posting this question in right category..Please suggest me right one if its wrong.

I want to build a budget system for practicing virtulisation with VMware ESX.

I heard that it is possible to install ESX server as VM in Vmware workstation on win 7 64x host system. For that I have selected below configuration.

Kindly let me know its possible with below hardware

1) Processor --> AMD FX6300
2) MoBo --> ASUS M5A78L-M/usb3
3) corsair PSU --> VS550 W
4) Kingston RAM -> 8GB Hyper X 1600 Mhz

Yes, it is possible to do that with that.

We actually have ESX hosts installed inside ESX VMs at work. (Turtles! All the way down!) for use as test systems.

Can you please confirm which option from BIOS to be enabled on that motherboard so that I can install ESX server as VM in VMware workstation on Win 7 desktop system ?
