Can I run an 865 board with 3 sticks of memory?

Will the memory still run in double bandwidth mode?

I plan to buy the 4th matching stick when my memory at Fry's goes on sale again.

Thanks ~!

I am not 100% sure on this, but from what I've heard you can't. You have to have an even number of sticks (2 or 4). You could just use two in the meantime and run it in dual channel configuration while you are waiting to get the 4th stick and then add the other two once you get it. Or you could just use the three you have and run it in single channel configuration.
