Can I run a second powersupply to run just my video card?

Basically, I never get above 11.80v on my +12v rail, and occasionally it dips to as low as 11.20v for a few seconds (330w Antec, old, 2500+ @ 2.2, 6600GTOC, gig of ram, 2 hard drives, 1 optical drive, Abit NF7-S 2.0). My computer just rebooted itself randosauce a few minutes ago. I have a 250watt Shuttle PSU in my basement, can I run that externally and run my videocard or something w/ it to lighten the load on my Antec?
 
Yeah well he can try it out and if it doesn't blow up *JK* 😉 great! But those are 2 mediocre psus. Just a note, your antec ripple should drop sunificantly, if it doesn't, that shuttle is dead. That will probably be pretty loud too...
 
I'm pretty sure I saw a PSU on newegg that fits into the 5.25" bay to supplement the main PSU. It came with 1 or two 6 Pin PCI-E connectors.

Though, since you don't want to spend money, there are sites that explain how to combine two PSUs to work as one.

How do you know that?
Have you measured it with a Volt meter?
