Can I run a Physx card on a Crossfire board?

I currently have a GTX 260 and will not be using SLI ever, but was wondering if down the road I could use the second PCI-E slot with another nVidia product for Physx processing? Or, does it have to be an SLI capable board?

yes you can, you do not need to enable SLI
