Can I run 160 megs of ram in my laptop?

I bought a 3800 dell inspiron preinstalled with 32megs of ram. I also bought a 128 meg chip as well. Will I be able to use Both of them in my system at the same time? 160 sounds like an odd amount of ram, but will this work? Or should I just ditch the 32 meg chip completely? Any thoughts??

Dell's web site says that it's upgradeable to 512 MB, so it probably has two RAM slots. So you should be able to use them both.
