Can I run 160 megs in my new dell laptop??

I bought a 3800 dell inspiron preinstalled with 32megs of ram. I also bought a 128 meg chip as well. Will I be able to use Both of them in my system at the same time? 160 sounds like an odd amount of ram, but will this work? Or should I just ditch the 32 meg chip completely? Any thoughts??
 
It will work man .. you choose the right decision to buy I3.8K with 32MB from dell and buy more memory from other vendor (i.e. crucial.com) since dell price for too pricey...
I once have 160MB also and whole lot better than having 32MB 🙂
 
I did that to my dad's laptop. bought the memory some 15 minutes after I bought the laptop.
Aftrer it worked, I installed tjh ram and there it went. So much faster.
