Can I RMA my free pen from Newegg?

Just bought some memory from them and got a free pen with it. The memory came from the east cost and the pen was shipped seperately and came from the west coast

Anyway, I can't use my pen. It won't write. It's like the pen is out of ink. I've tried everything I can think of to get the ink flowing. Light a match and put the tip of the pen over the flame, sucked on the pen for a while....the ink still won't flow

I've never gotten a freebie from Newegg before and was looking forward to it and now this happens

Is there anyway to RMA this piece of junk?

I was honestly looking forward to it. It looks like/feels like it could be a good pen if it worked.

Planned to get upgrade my pen I use to write checks from my reliable Ace Hardware pen to my Newegg one.

open it up and find the number on the ink cartridge, if it does not have one just bring it to wal-mart and compare. I'm sure there is a compatible one..

That's true. I've always held Newegg to a high standard and they have met it everytime. Why should I lower my standard for them now?

Edit: Just logged into the RMA Request and the pen isn't in the Invoice List

I had one of these pens arrive leaking ink in the pen box. I emailed the Egg about it, and they sent me a few replacements.

I love these pens.

I really like the pen Newegg sent me. Usually companies give out those crappy bics or such with their name and perhaps address on them. Newegg gives out nifty lookin ones.

Perhaps if you write them a nice thank you letter and alert them to the fact that it doesn't work, they'll be nice enough to send another without you having to send yours back... exactly what does this pen look like that you must get it to work ?

Sorry, the warranty is void if you try to work on it yourself
