Can I RMA IBM Memory?

RKS

Diamond Member
I have a 128MB ECC PC100 registered memory that I can't get to work. I have tried it by itself in various machines but it has not worked anywhere.
I bought the memory used and am wondering if I have any options since I can't get to the seller?

RKS - have ANY of the systems been Asus or Abit BX boards? I have used the IBM DIMMS before, and MANY desktop boards cannot use them. These were probably pulled from a server, and thus I heavily doubt you can get them RMA'd. Registered DIMMS are usually server material. So if you're not trying them in GX boards w/ Xeons, IBM may just scoff you.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the RDRam in some 'off-the-shelf' systems (ie; dell, gateway, etc.) I believe it was a server pull. Since I don't have or plan to have a Xeon based system I have one expensive bookmark!!!!!
