Can I reverse the direction of my CPU fan? From blow to suck?

My case temperature would be a lot lower if I could get my FOP-38 to suck instead of blow. The exit fan on the back of my case is right by the CPU fan so the hot air would go straight out the back instead of circulating in the case for a while and then going out. How can this be done?

Despite your setup, I doubt you'll get better results. Blowing instead of sucking has been for the most part proven to work better for several reasons such as the fact that instead of moving already warm air over the fins and out (sucking) you'll be moving cool air onto the fins which will only get warm when released (blowing). If you still want to do it your way, just flip the fan upside down and screw the fan grill on the other side.

Dang, I was hoping for some good news. I must have messed up the connection between my Athlon and my HS when I unlocked my CPU. It ran around 35C with my FOP-32 and is now running above 36C.

What thermal interface material are you using? I'm sure it's just the TIM problem (if you used a pad using it a second time = bad, and generic thermal goop = bad as well) because if it was bad contact between the two your chip would have fried by now :Q.

Nope. Same setup as before only with the FOP-38.

Lapped HS with AS2.

Thermal pads are for OEMs
