If you don't like FS2k4 this means that either a) you know nothing about flight and discovered the game was too hard for you or b) your computer sucks and you don't know how to tweak the game for better performance. If you would like to give it a second shot but are having performance issues, I suggest you try the following website: Avsim. Checkout the MSFS forum, especially the tips & tricks sticky thread. There are literally thousands of flight simmers that post on that site daily who have a wealth of knowledge about flight sim.
Good luck, I hope next time you do a little research before you blow $55 ;)

Last time I checked all Microsoft software has a 30 day money back guarantee from Microsoft. You probably have to return it to them directly though.

isnt it just, u can't/don't install it?

Yep. That may work for the manufacturer, but the reseller will not take it back once opened.

Actually, you're wrong. I don't know about other retailers, but at best buy if it was a eula (fs 2k4 or and MS does..) and you disagree with it, best buy WILL accept a return/refund on it. If customer service doesnt agree, go talk to tech bench/manager.

Yes it will. If you get some idiot customer service person go talk to a tech at the tech bench or a manager.

These guys say so, but I don't believe it (I know for a fact that my local Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal Mart, Target, etc. will only swap an open piece of software, or music CD with in identical one. No refunds) Give it a try and let us know.

Lol so he just goes up to the customer service desk "yes i'd like to return this game" "it's opened sir" "I don't agree with this EULA, i'd like to return it" "nope"

I'm sorry i don't see how this can work.

I've seen people returning opened software at Frys. Something that it screws the PC up. I think the guy gave him store credit.

It happens every now and then. I work at the tech bench at a local best buy, and best buy corporate tried to find a way around this about 6 months ago. There isn't one. Apparently there is a retailer agreement with software vendors that say the retailer MUST accept a return if a customer doesn't accept the eula. Then, best buy sends it back to our distributor and they get there money back.

It works. I'm not gonna post again about it. The guy who started the thread: go try it. You do need to make up a reason why you disagree with it.. like you wanted to use it in another country where you going to study abroad or something..

If you don't get any joy from Best Buy is there an Electronics Boutique near you? Exchange it there. I ran into a similar problem a few years ago where BB wouldn't let me return a game I bought so I just went to EB and did and even exchange for another title.
