I realize I can unlock the multipier by connecting all the L1 bridges. (right?) but I would like to know if I can set the multiplier to an exact X by a combination of connected/cut bridges. or is the duron only "locked" or "unlocked"?
ie: I have a duron 1.0 in a msi pro2-ru, I would like to put it in my k7s5a(<---no multiplier adjustment in BIOS). I was wondering if I could "reset" the multilpier to an exact number so the MB would read it as say 8 and then up the fsb to appropriate levels.
