I figure I will get some flames .. but hopefully someone knows the answer to this..

I will have to peel the COA off of the bottom of the laptop though .. very very carefully

You can sell it with the laptop ...but I wouldn't peel off the sticker.

Your chances of getting the sticker off in one piece are very very slim. They design them to rip when pulled.
Technically you aren't suppoed to sell it even if you can get it off because the license stays with the machine in Microsoft's eyes.

MCE = Media Center Edition, Dell ships laptops with MCE on it?

You can't legally sell the copy of windows, it's tied to the laptop and actually may not install on a computer without a dell bios.

Yep, you can. I got it with my iXPS2... even though i didn't get the tuner. I figure for an extra $50 or so, it was better to have it when i need it, and need it and not have it later (and yes, i do plan on using it on my desktop).

I don't know about the whole selling the COA thing (I don't see why not though, if you completely 100% remove all traces of it from every system you own and provide a legit COA and OEM CD/DVD), but I do know the sticker will come off in one piece if you're careful. I pull the XP Home OEM sticker off the bottom of my HP laptop.

That COA is tied to that laptop. Reselling it violates the EULA. Be careful where you sell it if you simply must...
