Can I renew my vehicle registration at any time? Before it's expiration month?

You can't in Calif. which is bumming a lot of people out because of the tripling of auto fees later this year.

You probably need your renewal notice/paperwork in some manner. Might have to go to the DMV or something.

Hmm, thanks. Here in TX, we have "tax assessor" offices where you can go in and get license plates/renew registratoins. I'll stop by and ask. Thanks.

Yeah, luckily I paid mine a few months ago so I have a year reprieve. I still wish they would charge registration relative to the weight of the vehicle.
