can i remotely shutdown another clients PC on a domain in Win2K?

I need to be able to remotly shutdown their PC, all PCs are on a domain, and have their own user domain accounts and local accounts. all running Win2k Pro. anyone know if I can do this or not? Also I'm not running Win2l server, i need to do this for a Pro machine...

Yup, you can do that. Install the NT Resource Kit. It comes with a program called shutgui.exe. To remotely shutdown a computer, run this program, type in the name of the computer, and set whatever options you want. You don't even need to have shutgui installed on the computer you're shutting down. The only thing to remember is that you need to be logged in as a user who is an administrator on the machine you're shutting down. This program works in both NT 4 and 2000.

There are also some third party free utilities doing the same trick, one is called remoteshutdown or something like that. It has options to shutdown or restart.

I have never heard of shutgui but I have used shutdown.exe from the MS resource kit tools. Preety cool. You can shut down other computer in the domain and there is no way they can cancel the operation.
