Can I redeem E-Ticket's without the credit card it was bought on?

I'm headed to Europe tomorrow, and my grandmother booked the tickets on her credit card. We used Expedia to book the trip. I normally go to a kiosk and redeem e-ticket's with the card that I paid for the tickets with. Is there another way to redeem the tickets? I don't want to travel to Europe and have to keep track of her card (she's not coming with us) just so I can get my airline tickets.

Call the 1-800 number for your airline.

In my experience you need a credit card encoded with the name of the passenger who's checking in. Payment doesn't matter.

You only need a credit card with the traveler's name, not the one it was purchased with.

What airline are you taking? Aer Lingus has sweet new checkin kiosks that scan your passport.

British Airways. I am bringing a credit card with my name on it.
You're good to go. Print out a copy of your itinerary too, in case you need a confirmation # at the kiosk.

Oh, and your passport. 😉

Northwest has those too, I think (I've never flown international, but they have a passport slot on the top of the kiosk).

Just make sure it's an E-TICKET and not a PREPAID ticket that you have. With the E-ticket, basically any I.D. will allow you to check in. In fact, you can even check in online and print out your boarding pass at home.
