I've been trying a program called Replay Radio from Applian that captures audio streams from over the internet. The great thing about it is you can program your weekly schedule and it will automatically record all your shows (provided you leave your PC on of course). So if you listen to Rush or Al Franken (or say a classical or jazz station, anything really) you just program them in once and it records it all for you every week. I'm trying out the free demo for it right now.

The Audigy2 card has software included that streams any broadcast station I tell it to and can also save it. It even asks if I want it as WAV, WMA or MP3 :p

It also has the recording option on the player for: Mic, Spdif in, MIDI in, Auxiliary in, Mic2, Auxiliary 2 in. If you can't find the source audio you want to record it has the "What you hear" option. It can also do some noise reduction and clip removal on the fly.

You can also try the Sound Recorder found in Start/All programs/Accessories/Entretainment/Sound Recorder
