I don't get cable so I setup a slingbox at a local bar, and during the commercials of sports events I change the channel to discovery, stream it through my computer, project it onto a wall, and record it all with my cell phone. Then I can watch it anywhere

What are you talking about? It's the finest programming available that can be cheaply filmed in Alaska. Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush, Flying Wild Alaska, Into Alaska, Alaska The Last Frontier, Alaskan Bush People, Buying Alaska, Edge of Alaska, Bering Sea Gold, Klondike, Yukon Men, a dozen more shows filmed in Northern Canada or the North Atlantic, and special episodes of all their other regularly scheduled programs that take place in Alaska because it's important for the Mythbusters to determine if explosions still look cool in a sub-zero environment. How does that not hold universal appeal?

They could have focused on alaska, but they are focused on bullshit fake drama between characters in their bullshit fake reality tv.

They used to have actual documentaries and nature show's I loved them. They went down the toilet.

What a coincidence; my wife painstakingly recreates every frame of every Discovery show in a combination of watercolor and macaroni art. We could make a flipbook and I'll record your transcripts in a high falsetto, and BAM; Discovery Channel on demand.

I think we've solved the problem fellas. Good work team! Time for a beer.

Why don't you have your neighbor record them for you, he is probably a push over. Of course you might have to show him your rack but since you are wonderwoman we know you have a nice one. There is no such thing as wonderwoman with a small rack.

The discovery channel stopped being the discovery channel like 15 years ago when garbage and crap and bullshit started to fill time blocks instead of nonfiction television.

True dat!. Now it's like reality TV crap. I miss Man Vs Wild though. Now I'm watching the Smithsonian Channel and AHC (Formally the Military Channel) Why the fuck did they change the damn name? Stupid!

Thank you for all the recommendation, however I don't have a video tape Recorder and the Quality was quite bad. I thought in the nowadays environment there would be a more simple solution.. Nevertheless thank you to those who tried to help!
@ John Connor: How does it work with the home theatre pc? Do I need software?

Cheers!

You also do it with your pc, there is Software to do so, in this case it is easier to manage the movies!
We already suspect that the OP is a spammer asking a question to have other spammers cooperating with him/her suggest a solution. Sure enough, the moment you reply with a very similar name (man vs. woman), the OP replies. Let's see where this goes...
