I'm sure you've all ready thought of this (and it doesn't really give you a solution that you want I'm sure), but you could put the HDD in an NT computer, share it, and then read from it over a network on your Win95 system... This would be easy if you have access to an NT box, although if you did, you probably wouldn't be asking this in the first place :-/ Cheers!

There is a freeware program called NTFS DOS that allows read-only of NTFS by WIN95. There is an upgrade for money version that allows limited write capability. A good source for stuff like this is BHS.com.

NTFS for Win98 also works in Win95. DOS support is pricey but for Win98 has full read/write capabilities in Windows. You do have to run WinNT since it uses the installed kernel to work.

Go to winternals web site...just do a search on the net and you will find them.

You can have a software called NTFS for Win95b&c and NTFS for Win98.

The fact is that there is no other way...the only other way is to dual boot and to have a shared partition in FAT16. So you can go to the NT partition then transfer data on the fat16 partition and then return to win95...

And if there is an other way please tell me.

What I am thinking right now is to try to use partition manager to convert the NTFS partition in a FAT32, but it's a drastical solution, invocated by this big bad problemI have with my box.

Not sure PM will do it, but I'll try
