Can I put a voodoo 3 3000 pci and a GeForce 2 agp card in the same case?

I'd like to upgrade my video card. I've heard things that the geforces dont like Half life type games much running under Windows 2000. I have a pentium 2 300 mhz right now and my voodoo 3 makes Half life run really well on my computer.

the geforce will be for the computer i'm building. (1.+ ghz amd processor, ddr mobo, 512 ram, etc). Will half life run just as well? is there a way to combine the new card with the old voodoo?

thanks

but with your new computer, half life type games will run just fine on your geforce 2, maybe even better than your voodoo card.

but to answer your question, your voodoo cpi card should work just fine with a geforce 2 card in the same system.

WTF? If you put a V3 and a Geforce 2 in the same system your system will keep rebooting over and over again at bootup. What gives you guys the idea that it works????

I would think that they would work....just doesn't make sense to install the voodoo unless he going to run dual monitor. The gefoce will kill the voodoo in HL win2k.

1000's of people here run dual monitors with 1 agp card and 1 PCi card. It works perfectly.

Even if its not a dual monitor it will work but you have to specify in BIOS which video card to use - PCI or AGP.
