Can I put a voodoo 3 3000 pci and a GeForce 2 agp card in the same case?

I'd like to upgrade my video card. I've heard things that the geforces dont like Half life type games much running under Windows 2000. I have a pentium 2 300 mhz right now and my voodoo 3 makes Half life run really well on my computer.

the geforce will be for the computer i'm building. (1.+ ghz amd processor, ddr mobo, 512 ram, etc). Will half life run just as well? is there a way to combine the new card with the old voodoo?

A geforce will kill the voodoo at halflife...I run win2k with 12.90 drivers and it runs great.

Only install the voodoo card if you wish to run dual monitor. If not then don't install the voodoo.

BTW, if you think HL runs will on your system now, wait till you upgrade to a geforce/athlon.....

I second that. There is no reason to have both cards in your system!

Sure there is: the V3 had a strong 2d engine, and dual monitors is a lot of fun ^_^.

True, but how many of us have dual 19' Trinitrons lying around? If that was the case I would have kept my Voodoo3!
