Can I put a P4 2.4 in this case?

Not 100% positive, but it sounds like you should be able to cram that into that case.

Just invest in a good hs/f for the proc and some front/rear case fans for proper cooling. It may be a little noisy (depending on what fans you get) but better loud and safe than quiet and fried! :)

what about the 300w PS? that's what i'm currently using for my PIII. but i thought that around the release of the P4, a 400w PS was recommended. if i can stay with the 300w PS i have now when i upgrade to a P4, that would be good news...so i'm also wondering the same thing...

The psu must have one of those 4-prong square outlet do-hickeys in order to work along with the standard ATX plug

God, that sounds totally newbie, but I can't think of proper english right now.

ok i know what square connector you're talking about, and my PS doesn't have it. so does anyone know of a high quality, yet extremely quiet P4 (400w or so...) PSU? noise is a very big deal to me...

EDIT, PS - i can take this question and start a new thread if it takes away from the original post...just say the word and consider it done.
