Ive recently started OC my 3700+ abit more than i use to.. ive dropped the HTT back to x4 and im getting 2.7ghz on stock voltage. My concern is it runs under full load at about 42 - 44 degrees alrdy, im using a thermal take k8n silent cooler (a copper heatsink with 12 blade fan). My question is should i turn up the voltage abit and try for abit more speed? Also its an E4 one if that helps at all.

I ran my 3700+ at 2.85-2.9 on air every day that I had it. Turn down the HTT multiplier and see how high your FSB will go and report back.

It doesnt load into windows when i set it to 2.8 lol , it loads with the bar thingy then goes back screen and reboots =(. Does this mean i need to change the volt?

Upping the voltage a bit (5-10%) would be good to see how high it can go stable. Keep an eye on those temps, and try to keep it under 50 full load.

Also, I'm assuming you have your memory on the proper divider for it's specs/FSB?

Hmm its not 100% stable at 2.81.. gets a blue screen so gonna go back to 2.7 with no volt adding.
