Can I plug my case fan into the CPU fan connector on MB?

My MB (ESC K7S5A) has a case fan plug, but my fan power cable wont reach. So, can I plug my case fan into the CPU fan connector on MB, and vice versa?

Yeah, it doesn't matter which power connector you connect the fans to. You just have to remember that you switched the plugs when you go to check RPM's in the BIOS and such.
