Can I plug fans into the PS via the molex connectors while the computer is on?

I havent Broken anything doing it (yet). you can unplug Hotswap hard drives .. wiich eventually go back thru the 4 pin molex usually ... and Hotswap power supplies ... so why would fans not be hot swappable ...
 
NEver had a problem hotswapping fans, nor have I had any problems figuring out the orientation of LEDs and their connectors while the power was on.
